  • What foods should I avoid if I have a sensitive digestive system?
    • Avoid eating 3-4 hours before going to bed.
    • Avoid excessive caffeinated beverages.
    • Avoid excessive use of alcohol.
    • Avoid nicotine.
    • Avoid dairy products if you are lactose intolerant.
  • How to prep for gastroenterology surgery?
    • Avoid solid food for at least 8 hours before your surgery, and fluids 3-4 hours before the procedure.
  • Post Gastroenterology surgery care
    • Plenty of rest and avoid putting strain on your body, including stress. Ask your family/friends to run errands for you.
